Panel by AlphaDERA Labs is specifically designed to assess bodily functionality in women, covering a comprehensive range of screening tests, including the Complete Blood Count (CBC), Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP), Lipid Panel, Urinalysis, and Thyroid Function Panel. These tests play a crucial role in identifying potential risks or the presence of common medical conditions such as high cholesterol, heart disease, kidney or liver issues, blood disorders, thyroid functioning, and many other health concerns. Understanding the importance of early detection can significantly impact outcomes and guide treatment plans.
Our Women’s Basic Health Panel includes the following tests:
Complete Blood Count (CBC):
- Measures various components of the blood, including red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
- Helps diagnose conditions like anemia, infection, and blood disorders.
- Provides valuable information about overall health.
Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP):
- Assesses the status of vital organs, including the liver and kidneys, by measuring glucose, electrolytes, and waste products.
- Useful for monitoring conditions like diabetes, kidney disease, and liver problems.
- Offers insight into the body's metabolic and chemical balance.
Lipid Panel includes Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and Triglycerides:
- Evaluates lipid profiles to determine cardiovascular health.
- HDL is considered "good" cholesterol, while LDL is "bad" cholesterol.
- High levels of triglycerides are associated with an increased risk of heart disease.
Urinalysis:
- Analyzes the physical and chemical properties of urine.
- Detects various disorders like kidney disease, diabetes, and urinary tract infections.
- Assesses kidney function and overall hydration status.
Thyroid Function Panel includes TSH,T3-Free, T4-Free and T4-Total:
- Assesses thyroid gland function by measuring TSH (Thyroid-Stimulating Hormone), T3, and T4 levels.
- Aids in diagnosing thyroid disorders like hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism.
- Guides medication adjustments for maintaining optimal thyroid function.
Folate:
- Measures the levels of folic acid (vitamin B9) in your blood.
- Folate is essential for various bodily functions, including DNA synthesis, cell division, and the formation of red blood cells.
- Abnormal folate levels can indicate certain health issues, such as anemia, malnutrition, or folate deficiency.
- This test is particularly important for pregnant women, as folate plays a crucial role in fetal development.

FAQs
The Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMP) assesses various health markers, including blood sugar (glucose), electrolyte levels (sodium, calcium, potassium, carbon dioxide, chloride), protein levels (albumin, total protein), kidney function (blood urea nitrogen, creatinine), and liver health (alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, aspartate aminotransferase, bilirubin). A CMP offers insights into overall health, medication side effects, and conditions such as diabetes, liver, and kidney diseases.
A Complete Blood Count (CBC) measures key blood components, including red blood cells, white blood cells, hemoglobin, hematocrit, and platelets. Red blood cells transport oxygen, with the count indicating their concentration. Hemoglobin measures the oxygen-carrying protein in red blood cells. Hematocrit evaluates the proportion of red blood cells in your blood. Platelet count assesses the concentration of blood-clotting platelets.
The CBC also provides data on red blood cell characteristics. Mean corpuscular volume (MCV) indicates red blood cell size, mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) measures hemoglobin in each cell, and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) assesses hemoglobin concentration in cells. Red cell distribution width (RDW) indicates variations in red blood cell size. White blood cells, a part of the immune system, come in different types, including lymphocytes, neutrophils, monocytes, eosinophils, and basophils. They collectively respond to injuries or illnesses by attacking foreign substances.
Urinalysis examines urine's appearance, content, and concentration to identify abnormalities. It assesses color, clarity, pH, density, and the presence of glucose, bilirubin, ketones, blood, protein, nitrate, infection, white and red blood cells, skin cells, bacteria, and hyaline casts. Urinalysis can detect health issues, such as kidney disease, diabetes, or liver disease, at their earliest stages, often before symptoms manifest.
Thyroid disorder symptoms vary in severity and may resemble other medical conditions. Symptoms may include:
Hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid):
- Weight gain
- Fatigue
- Sensitivity to cold
- Thinning hair
- Enlarged thyroid (goiter)
- Muscle aches
- Joint pain and stiffness
- Elevated cholesterol
- Constipation
- Depression
- Memory issues
- Slow heart rate
- Dry skin
- Muscle weakness
- Facial puffiness
- Hoarseness
Hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid):
- Increased appetite
- Irregular heartbeat
- Palpitations
- Unintentional weight loss
- Frequent bowel movements
- Anxiety or nervousness
- Sweating
We recommend that you consult your healthcare provider regarding your results, as they are best equipped to provide guidance for your health and address any concerns you may have. You also have the option to discuss your test results and the next steps with our in-house physician.
